Learn how we ended up in beautiful Costa Rica!
My husband and I LOVE to travel! We moved from Canada to Costa Rica in 2008 and wouldn’t change a thing. We want to share our little piece of paradise with other travellers from around the world.
We do everything we can to ensure that their stay is special whether it is a 3 day getaway or 4 weeks in paradise.
We are very knowledgeable and experienced in this area of Costa Rica and can offer some interesting suggestions for tours and places to see. Our guests, who soon become good friends, come back year after year to share in our incredible lifestyle. Imagine yourself here!
It all started with the honeymoon…
In late January, 2002 after a blizzard swept wedding, we traveled to Costa Rica and fell in love with the country and the people. Sadly the honeymoon vacation came to an end. We went home and like most people found that life continued on in Canada as normal but the Costa Rican memories continued to pop into our heads when we least expected them to.
Funny how things happen when you put it out to the Universe. Friends of ours sold everything they had in Calgary and moved to Playas del Coco to sell real estate. Needless to say, we had to follow them and we fell in love with Costa Rica all over again.
This time we knew we had to head home with a plan in mind. It wasn’t a matter of CAN we move here, we just had to figure out HOW could we do it. Not long after that, we had our bags packed and haven’t looked back since.
Our Team makes it all happen
One cannot have such a wonderful life without the help of many people. Our good friend Lennis has arrived in Costa Rica just in time to care for our dog and hold down the fort while we do a little traveling ourselves. The exceptional cleaning ladies are invaluable. Cali and Eller, our gardeners, ensure that the pool is clean and the gardens are kept trim and green. We are truly living in a paradise but not just because Costa Rica is fabulous but because of the people we associate with.
